Jaycee's First Bath!

 

Here is Jaycee getting her first bath from Mommy!

 

You were such a good girl the entire time! Your stats stayed high and you didn't fuss once.

 
Now that you are all clean, I think you are trying to tell mommy that you want to play a little game of Peek a Boo! So of course Mommy played Peek a Boo with you.

Here is a picture of you showing off the fact that you can now wear clothes. After we finished with your bath and and dressed you, we figured you were ready for some cuddle time with your Daddy!

Mommy loves this picture because it shows that you have gained more weight and you are starting to get cute little cheeks. As of yesterday you we three pounds and 5 ounces! You are tolerating all of your feedings, which is fabulous! You have been on a high flow cannula for the last week and each day they lower your liters to wean you down to a low flow cannula. At first you were at 5 liters and last night you are down to two liters. Every day your doctors check your head and resavoir. They have tapped for fluid about every other day and you seem to be doing fine with it all. Primary Childrens is where we will be staying until we bring you home. Mommy and Daddy are so excited for that day. Right now all of your nurses and doctors just want you to rest and grow, and you are doing a great job at that. You have alot of fans rooting for your recovery and saying prayers for you each and everyday.
