Doing Laundry with the kiddies!

I am a silly little monkey these days. I am 10 months old and love to be doing everything mommy and daddy are doing. If I am not in on the action, I cry and fuss until mommy and daddy make me part of the action. My doggy Scooter has learned to ignore my cries and just go with the flow. Today I helped out with the laundry. My doggy Scooter loves when my mommy dumps the warm laundry on the ground so that he can lay in it while she folds it. I just like to make a mess with it, that's a lot more fun, I get bored just laying around in it. In fact, I really don't like clothes. I loved to be naked in a diaper. I throw really big fits when mommy and daddy try to dress me and put my diaper on. They have to "tag team" me. I am starting to sitting up by myself and starting to army crawl a little bit. I still like to have nightime visits with mommy and daddy in the middle of the night, at least two times per night. My little belly just doesn't hold much so I get hungry a lot. I still have no teeth but drool all the time! I love my little family.



Valentines Day

Happy Valentines Day! Daddy and I went shopping to buy mommy a special gift for Valentines Day. She kept telling him not to get her anything because she already had everything she could ever want, my Daddy and me! My daddy never lets a holiday go by without making my mommy feel special. So we got mommy a plant, chocolate, a move to watch with me, and fun manicure and pedicure stuff. The joke is on her, she will never have time to paint her nails with little 'ol me around . I am excited to be part of this family because I have a feeling I am going to be just as spoiled as my mommy if not more by my daddy. He loves his girls!

Jaycee visits her Great Grandma

FAMILY is a pretty big deal with my mommy and daddy. They really wanted me to meet my Great Grandma Cooley, so here I am being a good girl! Grandma Grace was so excited to see me and was so excited to hold me. My mommy and daddy were just as excited to show me off.  All they could do the whole time is talk about how amazing I am.

Jaycee and her Highchair!

My mommy keeps calling me her "Little Peanut" but I think I am a big girl and ready to sit in a big girl chair. So off we went to the store to buy me a new highchair. All of them looked so big and I looked so tiny in them, but we finally found one we liked. I think this chair is a pretty new and fun toy. I love to put one leg up and just relax in it while I am eating! Right now my gums hurt really bad because I may be getting some teeth, so Mommy and Daddy give me yummy things to bite on and suck on. I really like apples. My bib says it all! I am a daddy's girl. My Mommy has to peel me off my Daddy to get a chance to hold me. My hair is growing so fast! My mommy likes to make me have crazy hair. I love baby food and cereal. I am still a little eater though. I guess I will be my mommy's "little peanut forever!

Mommy's Birthday

My Mommy had her birthday on January 22nd. She decided she just wanted a simple dinner at home with her cute little family. Afterwards my Grandma Gretchen came over with a yummy looking cake she made for my Mommy. Mommy said I was a real good shopper. I got her a cute birthday balloon, a pretty flower, and a one hour break for me to get a massage. I am 9 months old in these pictures. I am so excited about sitting up and trying to drink from a cup. I love to play in my saucer and have outgrown my swing. I am a mover and just wish I could walk, instead I head scoot and roll around everywhere. I really love tubby time. I sometimes get two tubby's a day one in the morning before my nap and one at night if I am fussy, it calms me right down and puts a big smile on my face. I love to hear my Mommy and Daddy sing songs to me everynight before I got to bed, I feel extra special when I get rocked to sleep and Mommy or Daddy fall asleep with me (then I get extra snuggle time). I really love being with my Mommy and Daddy, and they tell me all the time how much they love ME!

Being a Mom is the BEST!!!!

I have always dreamed of being a mommmy and having my very own child to love and teach. Jaycee made my dream come true. I just love being her mommy! She brings so much joy into our lives. Jack and I love being her parents. The instant love you have for your child the second they are concieved and born is unreal. We just adore our little girl. We love the simple things like watching her grab her toes while we change her diaper. Or when she laughs at us when we make silly faces or say silly things. She makes our hearts melt in the morning when she first wakes up and tells us a story in her baby babble. We are such proud parents. Everything she does is a BIG DEAL to us. We don't want to miss a minute. The last nine months of our lives have been surreal. Never in a million years did I think I would learn so much from my tiny little bundle of joy. Its amazing how your perspective on things change when you become a parent. I love being a mommy and Jack loves being a daddy. I love how active and involved he is with Jaycee. He is so hands on with everything and doesn't miss a beat. In fact he is the one who gets up during all the night feedings because he knows how well I don't do when I am lacking sleep. All in all we make the perfect team and are so thrilled to be parents. We both feel very blessed and count our precious blessings everyday. I am one lucky girl with an amazing husband and a sweet precious daughter! Thank you Jaycee for making our lives complete!

Santa Claus

Me and my cousin were so good during lunch time that our parents and grandma told us we could go see Santa. So here we are sitting on Santa's lap. My cousin Gavin was excited at first and then decided he would rather be with daddy and in his arms then sit on Santa's lap. As for me, I was having fun watching my mom and dad make silly faces and singing to even notice who's lap I was sitting on. I'm thinking next year I may look more like my cousin Gavin. All  I know is that I can't wait to see what Santa brings to me.

Jaycee's Tree at the "Festival of Trees"

Sooooo, My mommy and daddy told me about an amazing aunt and cousin they have that wanted to make and dedicate a christmas tree in my name for the "Festival of Trees". Their names are Heather Jenkins and Marianne Cooley. When Aunt Marianne called my mom and asked permission if they could decorate a tree in my name my mom was speechless. She was so happy that someone would share my story with thousands of people to help raise money for the amazing hospital that I spent 3 months of my life in. Mommy and Daddy were so excited to see this amazing tree, they were counting down the days until they could go and see it. So we made it a family activity where my aunts,uncles, grandparents, and cousins could come and celebrate me and my life. They were all in absolute "AWE" . They didn't want to leave the tree and look at the others. They loved watching everyone come up to my tree and look and my picture and read my story. My grandpa loved showing me off to all the people that read my story . SOOO many people kept saying how cute my tree was. I even heard that it was one of the most popular trees at the festival. I am really not surprised because cousin Heather and Aunt Marianne are reallly creative and pretty amazing when it comes to decorating. I am most excited about the fact that someone bought my tree and that all the money is going to Primary Childrens Hospital to help other babies like me. I feel so lucky! I can't wait to spend my first christmas with my mom and dad. I am preety sure Santa is going to visit my house because I have been a real good girl!

Happy Halloween

For my first Hallowen my mommy and daddy dressed me up as a cute little ladybug! My mom and dads close family friend even took a professional picture of me and entered me into a photo contest. My mommy says I am a super model because I won first place in the contest and won my parents $150.00. My mommy loves pictures of me so much that she will probably use that money for another photo shoot when I am bigger. Halloween was a big day for me. I started out stopping by my mommy's class to visit her and then it was on to see Grandma Gretchen at her work. After that I was pretty tired so Daddy took me home to cuddle and snuggle. That was probably my favorite part because I love to snuggle with my daddy! Aunt Heather and Uncle Chad also came to visit me on Hallowen. Aunt Heather passed out all of the candy at my house while my mommy rested. She was tuckered out after being at work with a class of excited little first graders. I can't wait till next year to see what my mommy and daddy are going to dress me up as! Happy Hallowen Everyone!

So far this fun little holiday that my mom and dad keep calling Halloween has been a whole lot of fun for me. I got to foot paint for the first time ever. I also got to watch my mom and dad carve pumpkins. My mommy and daddy were laughing a lot and so was my aunt and uncle. I decided to join in with them and boy did I put on a little laughing show for my aunt and uncle. They thought I was sooo funny that my uncle scott made of video of me. I had no idea I would be an actress at such a young age!
