Our first climb up a really steep, back and forth, long journey at IMC. As we started the climb it got steeper, longer and harder and we ended up at Primary Childrens Hospital. Thanks to the good lord up above who never left our sides we could put these two amazing buildings behind us and enter the building we most desired HOME!
Here is a picture of Jaycees room for the last three months. Daddy had to put a southwest plane above her crib to entertain her and remind her that better days are to come and some day we will be on a plane just like that one to the funnest place on earth DISNEYLAND. We watched so many bedspaces become empty has all Jaycees roomates left and went home. Maybe couldn't wait for Jaycees bedspace to be empty so I had to snap a picture showing we were on our way out FINALLY.
Here is a picture of the room we got to stay in the night before we took you home. This room is the first place your Mommy and Daddy got to hold you and be with you alone without any nurses or doctors around. This was the first time our little family got to experience neing together as a family. We were in heaven all night long. Mommy and daddy were so excited we didn't have to share you with any nurses or doctors. I am pretty sure you were in heaven as well.
Mommy kept getting up and kissing you all night because she was so stinkin excited to have you all to herself. Tonight was the first night she felt like a REAL mommy.
Here is your beautiful going home dress! You are sooooo cute!!! You were such a little fighter and tough little girl that you didn't need to come home with any oxygen. You get sooo tired soo fst that you still need a feeding tube to help you get all of your feedings.
The two proud parents of an absolute MIRACLE! We couldn't stop smiling we were soooo happy! Here you are all buckled in for your very first car ride. You had to pass a test of sitting in your car seat for three hours without having any apnea spells and YOU DID IT! We are so proud of you.
Here is a picture of the NICU exit doors that we waited so very long to take you through. We have never been so excited to see an exit sign until now! We are finally on our way home Jaycee Girl.
Mmmy and daddy are standing outside the angel garden in front of the hospital getting ready to put you in the car. This is the first time in four months that you have ever been outside. We covered you up so you would catch any germs on the way out.You don't mind being in your car seat at all. The second we put you in the car your were out like a light and ready to be on your way. Daddy sat in the back seat with you the whole way home while mommy drove. Your mommy is a weakling and gets car sick very easily.
